How much do you charge for bridal services?
My bridal services and prices are listed here. My rates are competitive with those makeup artists who reflect my level of skill, knowledge and experience.
My aim is to provide you with a fully comprehensive price that encompasses all your needs and requirements. This way, you’ll know what you’re up, we’ll be on the same page and you’ll have peace of mind that there are no surprises. No bride wants that!
I strongly recommend you fill in the form, which provides me with wedding day information (e.g. number of guests, location, time of day, services required) so that I can provide you with an indicative quote. I’ll then follow up with you to discuss your requirements and needs in more detail to provide you with a final price that encompasses everything.
What’s a trial?
The trial is when we design and preview the wedding day look – to ensure the bride knows exactly what she’s getting and so that there no surprises on the wedding day
Bridal makeup is not just about applying makeup on the bride on her wedding day. Great wedding day makeup starts with great skin which is why all my trials include a skin consultation to improve its appearance in time for the wedding. This is addition to designing the wedding day look, choosing colours, applying the makeup and making adjustments to ensure you’re 100% happy.
Do I need a trial?
Nothing is ever mandatory but I do recommend all brides have a trial (which I call a preview because we are actually ‘pre-viewing’ the wedding day look). Having a preview is “the facial equivalent” like trying on your wedding dress before the wedding to ensure it’s absolutely perfect.
The wedding day can be quite hectic and fast paced and now is not the time to be discussing makeup looks, choosing colours etc – all this is worked out in advance at the preview. And what if you don’t like it?
This is why we have a preview (which is generally takes twice as long as application on the day). The preview also includes a skin consultation to ensure that your skin is at its best on the wedding day.
Do you come to me?
Yes I do.
This ensure that you’re not rushing around on your big day and get ready in the comfort of your own environment.
Travel costs may be incurred, please let us know your event location when submitting you enquiry and we will be sure to include these costs in your quote.
My makeup needs to last all night?
Your makeup will be designed for longevity. It won’t necessarily be heavier, but the products I use are long lasting to ensure your makeup stays put.
What products do you use?
I use a range of professional long lasting and photo friendly products including Mac, Ben Nye, Makeup Forever, NARS, and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
What if I have a large bridal party?
No need to worry if you have a large bridal party as I will bring on assistants to ensure everyone is taken care of.
Do you do hair?
At this time, I only offer makeup services to my bridal clients.
What else do I need to know?
All brides enter into a Bridal Services Agreement. This protects both you and me. This is a plain English 2 page documents that outlines EXACTLY what our obligations are to each other as artist and client, so there are no misunderstandings, confusion or surprises.
